we also have “Neeeh! NEEEEEEEEEEEEH!” at our house – once we got back from our trip where she saw them all the time, she now spots them all the time. so now between “neeeh” and “ow-ow” (dogs) we have two categories that any animal can potentially fit into.
We now have “buh buh,” which seems to mean bear but refers to any furry animal that is not a dog, cow, or horse.
